G!Day from Adelaide South Australia

Post by Tekket »

Hi i am a recent recruit of Terror Australis and am hoping to join the 501st legion soon. But like all new recruits I first need to get a kit and build an approvable costume Ihave a couple in mind an ANH Snowtrooper and a TK ANH Stormtrooper so ive joined here and at white armor and ive already met some very helpful people.

Its great to be here and I would be very grateful to anyone steering me in the right direction towards getting a hard armor kit so that I can start my build.

Dont qoute me but i think there are only a couple of Snowies in my local garrison THE DEWBACKS so it would be great to have more here in SA.

I look forward to getting to know some of you guys and girls here, and one day becoming an approved member of the 501st

Happy Trooping Steve

Welcome! Snowy armor these days has become somewhat of a hard commodity, though it's not impossible! The two most common kits out there are created by either Dan Laws or MonCal. Both are quality kits. I'd do some personal research on both so that you can determine which you feel you'd like to try and acquire. There are also other up-coming providers, such as Boba maker. If you need more assistance, please lmk!

Hi Mate!
Rach here from the Redback Garridon up in Brisbane!!
I've been a 501st member sine January!! The Snowie will be my first part hard armour costume.
I bought mine 2nd from a guy in my Garrison which needs lots of repairs and a complete repaint. Lucky to have lots of support up here though only a few had be snowies.
I'm told Mon Cal make awesome armour but you wait a while.

Good luck with yr Snowie!
Cheers Rach
