Hello everyone! I'm going to admit that I am a completely newbie when it comes to costuming/cosplaying/trooping. My husband actually introduced me to Star Wars a few years ago (shameful I know, I guess I wasn't raised right :P ) but in any case, I have joined the Dark Side and have become a fan.

I am looking to build a Galactic Marine and would appreciate any advice.

I look forward to getting to know my Detachment and finally trooping when I finish my costume.

That's awesome you want to make a Galactic Marine, they are a pretty complex armour to make, it is a challenge. Best of luck with your armour.
