Hello Blizzard Force!
I'm Ben, currently in Rochester, NY. Not a 501st member yet, but planning to join as a Snow Scout(just have to get everything and put it together first). Looking forward to joining the ranks!
Ben
P.S.: Any tips on getting started would be much appreciated

Re: Hi everyone!
Heya Ben
Welcome to the frosty side of the Empire!
Snow Scouts are a great choice. Cool and easy to wear!
You should be able to see this section, the build threads for snow scouts, lots of tips and info there. If you start your own build thread you can ask questions there and the experts can help you.

Re: Hi everyone!
Hi guy!!
Fellow Snow Scout here.
Happy to answer any questions that you might have.
Take a look at Chefs Creations and Walt’s Trooper Factory as a start for soft
goods and armor.
The boots are standard issue (same an out fellow Snow Troopers). Army surplus from Canada is a great choice. Might find on eBay occasionally as well (but don’t go there for anything else)
Feel free to send me a pm for any questions or help on the build.
